The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across KS3 and iMedia at KS4, inspiring students to develop both their technical knowledge and digital creativity.

The Role

As a Computer Science and Imedia Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3.

  • Teach iMedia to KS4 students, preparing them for examination success.

  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire learners.

  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the department.

This role would suit an experienced Computer Science and Imedia Teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher seeking a supportive school in which to begin their career.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Computer Science and Imedia Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • A degree in Computer Science, ICT or a closely related subject.

  • Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.

  • Knowledge or experience of delivering iMedia at KS4.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.

  • A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
