Are you a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor looking for a rewarding role in education? We are working in partnership with a supportive and well-regarded secondary school to recruit a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff. This full-time Cover Supervisor position involves delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers as a Cover Supervisor

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Support students in completing assigned work

• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress and student engagement

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable

• Confident in managing classroom behaviour as a Cover Supervisor

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Flexible, adaptable, and able to think on your feet

• A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
