English Teacher – Part-Time – September Start

TARA Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Telford with the recruitment of an English Teacher for a part-time opportunity starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate English Teacher looking for a varied and rewarding role within a supportive school community.

The successful English Teacher will predominantly teach English across Key Stage 3, with a small number of Computing, Geography and Art lessons included within the timetable. This role would suit a flexible and enthusiastic English Teacher who enjoys working with younger secondary pupils and is confident delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects where required.

This is a part-time position, working four days per week, commencing in September and continuing for the entire Autumn Term.

The successful English Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting, particularly at KS3.

  • The confidence to deliver a small number of Computing, Geography and Art lessons.

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

  • A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and creating positive learning experiences.

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and student progress.
