Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

TARA Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive secondary setting in Telford to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled educator seeking a flexible role, ideally working 3 days per week.

Overview of the Role
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages, fostering a love of literature and language. The successful candidate will be confident in adapting their teaching to meet the needs of all learners, with SEND experience highly desirable.

This role is well-suited to an English Teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting students with a range of additional needs. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all students are able to access the curriculum and make meaningful progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across relevant key stages

• Differentiate teaching to support students with varying abilities, including those with SEND

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with support staff and wider school teams

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified teacher with QTS and a specialism in English

• Experience teaching English across secondary age range

• SEND experience or a strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices (preferred)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Passionate about inspiring students and raising achievement
