ICT Teacher
ICT / Computer Science Teacher – Immediate Start

TARA Recruitment is working with Secondary school on the Shropshire to appoint an ICT / Computer Science Teacher for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible, motivated teacher who can step in quickly and make an impact, with the likelihood of the role continuing beyond the initial period.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching:

Computer Science and iMedia at KS3 and KS4

Well-planned, engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum

Mixed-ability classes in a supportive, well-resourced environment
Key Responsibilities
-
Deliver high-quality ICT, Computer Science, and iMedia lessons
-
Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with KS3 and KS4 expectations
-
Maintain positive classroom management and student engagement
-
Contribute to the wider life of the department and school as required

Ensure safeguarding and school policies are followed at all times
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
-
Experience teaching ICT / Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
-
Experience or confidence teaching iMedia
-
Strong classroom management skills
-
Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a new setting

Availability to start immediately
