Learning Support Assistants (Evening GCSE Classes)

🕔 Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 5:15pm – 8:45pm

Are you passionate about supporting learners to achieve their potential?
An established further education setting in Shrewsbury is seeking two dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to provide 1:1 support for an adult learner in evening GCSE English and Maths classes.
The Role:

Provide in-class support to a student who uses a wheelchair.

Assist with scribing during lessons and supporting engagement in learning activities.

Offer personal care, including toileting assistance, as required (full training and guidance provided).

Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create a positive, inclusive learning experience.
Requirements:
-
Experience supporting learners with additional needs or physical disabilities is desirable.

Compassionate, patient, and professional approach.
-
Comfortable providing personal care and maintaining confidentiality.

Availability for both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings during term time.
- First Aid qualification or experience.
