Maths Teacher – Specialist SEN School – Shrewsbury

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher to join a highly supportive specialist school in the Shrewsbury area. This role is available for an immediate start and would suit an enthusiastic Maths teacher who is committed to making a genuine difference to young people with additional needs.

The school provides education for pupils aged 11–18 with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), ADHD and associated learning difficulties. The successful Maths teacher will play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop independence and achieve both academically and personally.

The ideal Maths teacher will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level

• Be adaptable, patient and resilient

• Have a passion for supporting pupils with SEN
