Apprentice Recruiter (Level 3)

As an Apprentice Recruiter, you will support the recruitment team by sourcing and screening candidates, completing compliance checks, and assisting consultants with daily and long-term school bookings. You’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Recruiter Apprenticeship.
What You’ll Do
Most of your apprenticeship will be spent learning on the job, gaining practical recruitment experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing teachers, teaching assistants and support staff using online platforms
- Telephone screening candidates to assess suitability, availability and preferences
- Supporting candidates through registration, safeguarding checks and onboarding
- Preparing job adverts and candidate profiles
- Updating CRM systems accurately and consistently
- Assisting consultants with daily and long-term school bookings
- Maintaining regular communication with candidates and schools
- Handling incoming calls and delivering excellent customer service
- Supporting ID checks, compliance documentation and safeguarding processes
- Matching candidates to roles based on skills and school requirements
- Working collaboratively within a friendly, supportive team
- Learning how to independently recruit and manage your own candidate pool
- Developing your personal brand as a recruiter and representing the company professionally

Training
You will complete a Recruiter Level 3 Apprenticeship, delivered through a partnership between Tara Professional Recruitment and Juniper Training Limited.
This includes structured learning alongside your role, with time allocated away from day-to-day duties to develop professional knowledge and skills.

- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- English and Maths Functional Skills (if required)
- On-the-job development with a dedicated Skills Coach
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade A*–C or 4–9)
Relevant qualifications or industry experience should be shared, as the apprenticeship can be tailored to prior knowledge.
