Science Technician – Immediate Start
(Short Term Cover – North Telford)

Tara Professional Recruitment are working with a highly regarded secondary school in North Telford who are seeking a Science Technician to provide support within their busy science department.

This is a short-term cover role, starting immediately, ideal for someone with experience in a school laboratory environment or a background in science who can step in to support staff and students during an absence.

The role will involve:

• Preparing and maintaining equipment and materials for practical science lessons

• Supporting teachers during experiments and demonstrations

• Ensuring health and safety standards are met within the labs

• Assisting with general departmental administration and organisation

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Science or Lab Technician (preferably within education)

• A good understanding of laboratory safety procedures

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• A proactive and flexible approach to work
