SEN Teacher

Maths & English Teachers – Specialist Education Setting (Rolling Recruitment)

About the School
We are working with a well-established specialist school within Telford that provides a nurturing and structured environment for children and young people with additional needs. The school is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space where every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. With small class sizes and a strong focus on individualised learning, staff are able to build meaningful relationships and make a genuine impact on students’ progress.

The Needs of the Pupils
The school supports pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, as well as associated behavioural and communication difficulties. Many students may have experienced disruption in their education and benefit from a consistent, patient, and highly supportive approach. Teaching here requires adaptability, resilience, and a genuine commitment to helping young people re-engage with learning and build confidence.

  • Foster a positive and structured classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider staff
