Salary: From £95 per day
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming school in Ealing. This role involves working closely with pupils who may have autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or other additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Help implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Encourage independence and confidence in students
- Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to staff
- Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and behaviours
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
