Art and Design Technology Teacher – Wolverhampton

Contract: Until the end of the academic year (July 2026)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Location: Wolverhampton

TARA Recruitment is proud to be supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Wolverhampton in their search for a passionate and creative Art and Design Technology Teacher to join their team from November through to the end of the academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for creativity, innovation, and design. The successful candidate will join a supportive and forward-thinking department dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Art and Design Technology.

  • Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes.

  • Inspire and motivate students to develop their artistic and practical skills.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and creative projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology at KS3 and KS4.

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and a passion for creative education.

  • Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
