Start Date: January/February 2026
Contract: Long-term (until July 2026) – potential to extend or become permanent from September 2026
TARA Education is working with a forward-thinking secondary academy within a respected Midlands-based trust to recruit a dedicated English Teacher to join their team from January or February 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real impact within a supportive and well-resourced school environment. The role will involve delivering engaging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of learning and helping pupils reach their full potential.

The ideal new English Teacher will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification

Have recent experience teaching English at secondary level within the UK
-
Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to high standards

Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to inspire students

Be suitable for ECTs or MPS-level teachers, with excellent training and development support available.
