Teacher of History – Short-Term Supply
Tara Professional Recruitment is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Staffordshire to recruit a Teacher of History for a short-term supply role.
This position is available from 26th January until February half term and will involve teaching History across KS3 and KS4. The role is ideal for a confident classroom practitioner who can quickly settle into a new environment.

The school is an 11–18 secondary school with a strong academic focus and a positive learning culture. It has been rated Good by Ofsted, with particular strengths in personal development and behaviour. The school promotes high expectations, mutual respect and a calm, purposeful atmosphere, supported by clear routines and well-established policies. The humanities department is supportive, with structured schemes of work in place to aid continuity.
The Role Will Involve:

Delivering engaging and effective History lessons

Teaching KS3 and KS4 classes

Maintaining high standards of behaviour for learning

Assessing and monitoring pupil progress in line with school expectations
The School Is Seeking Someone Who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

Has recent experience teaching History at secondary level

Can build positive relationships with students and staff
-
Is adaptable, reliable and confident in the classroom
