Maths Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Stafford area

Contract: Maternity Cover | Part-Time (Monday to Wednesday) | Full time for the right candidate
Are you an inspiring Maths teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school? TARA Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths specialist to join a high-achieving department in the Stafford area.
This is a part-time maternity cover position, starting in November, with core teaching days from Monday to Wednesday. Full time hours possible.
About the Role:

Teach engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Contribute to a positive learning environment that encourages student progress and achievement

Work collaboratively within a supportive team of educators committed to excellence

Plan, assess, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Passion for helping students develop confidence and enthusiasm in Maths
