Tara Professional Recruitment are working in partnership with a successful and well-regarded secondary school in the Telford area to recruit a full-time Teacher of Mathematics for a maternity cover position starting February 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed Maths teacher to join a supportive department within a forward-thinking school that places a strong emphasis on high standards, professional development and student achievement.

The Role:

Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
Assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively
Contributing positively to the wider Maths department and school community
Full-time maternity cover from February 2026

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school setting
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to raising attainment
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
