Teacher of MFL
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with a strong background in French to join a successful and supportive secondary school. The role offers the opportunity to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4, delivering high-quality language teaching that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Start Date: January 2026 (possibly sooner)
Subject: MFL (French Leaning)
Timetable: Full time (Part time can be accomodated)
Salary: MPS / UPS depending on experience
The Role:

Teach MFL across a range of abilities and year groups (KS3 and KS4).

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and departmental initiatives.

Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes while nurturing their personal growth.

Take an active role in the wider life of the school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a degree in a relevant subject area.

Have a passion for teaching French, with the ability to deliver inspiring lessons.

Ideally, have the ability to offer an additional language, though this is not essential.

Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.

Show commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
