Teacher of MFL

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with a strong background in French to join a successful and supportive secondary school. The role offers the opportunity to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4, delivering high-quality language teaching that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Start Date: January 2026 (possibly sooner)

Subject: MFL (French Leaning) 

Timetable: Full time (Part time can be accomodated) 

Salary: MPS / UPS depending on experience

The Role:

• Teach MFL across a range of abilities and year groups (KS3 and KS4).

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and departmental initiatives.

• Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes while nurturing their personal growth.

• Take an active role in the wider life of the school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a degree in a relevant subject area.

• Have a passion for teaching French, with the ability to deliver inspiring lessons.

• Ideally, have the ability to offer an additional language, though this is not essential.

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.

• Show commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
