We are working with a well-established and highly regarded secondary school in the Rugeley area of Staffordshire. They are now seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their team on a 0.8 FTE basis, with the role offering an excellent opportunity to become part of an established department.
The Role
The successful MFL Teacher will teach Modern Foreign Languages across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop students' confidence and ability in their chosen language.
The role will involve:

Planning and delivering high-quality MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Teaching students with a range of abilities and prior attainment.

Preparing KS4 students effectively for their GCSE examinations.

Developing students' skills across speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Creating an engaging and positive classroom environment.

Assessing and monitoring student progress.

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Working collaboratively with colleagues within the MFL department.

Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications & Experience Required
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Have experience teaching MFL within a UK secondary school.

Be confident teaching across KS3 and KS4.

Have strong subject knowledge in at least one Modern Foreign Language.

Ideally have experience delivering a GCSE MFL curriculum.

Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.

Be able to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to achieving positive outcomes for students.

Be able to work effectively as part of an established department.
