Religious Studies Teacher – Starting ASAP until End of Academic Year
Tara Professional Recruitment is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Wolverhampton to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Studies to start as soon as possible and teach through to the end of the academic year.
About the School
This mixed 11–18 secondary school and sixth form has a strong ethos rooted in high expectations for both academic and personal development. It has been rated Good by Ofsted.
The Religious Studies department is an important part of the curriculum, contributing to students’ understanding of faith, ethics and the wider world and supporting their development as reflective and thoughtful learners.
The Role:

Teach engaging and effective Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute at KS5 where appropriate.

Support the consistent implementation of department schemes of work and assessment practices.

Promote a positive climate for learning, reinforcing high standards of behaviour and mutual respect.

Monitor and track pupil progress in line with whole-school expectations.
The School Is Looking For Someone Who:

Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification) and has experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level.

Is confident delivering across multiple key stages.

Can build strong relationships with students and colleagues.

Is adaptable, reliable and ready to contribute from day one.
