Science Teacher – Short Term Cover (Full Time or Part Time Considered)
Location: North Shropshire
Dates: Second half of the Autumn Term 2025
Tara Professional Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools for the second half of the Autumn term. The school is especially interested in someone with a leaning towards Chemistry, though applications from all Science specialists are welcome. The role is full-time, but there is scope to consider part-time for the right candidate.

Short-term cover for the second half of the Autumn term (post-half term until Christmas).

Ideally suited to a candidate with strength or interest in Chemistry, though general Science teaching is acceptable.

Full-time position; part-time considered for a suitably experienced or flexible applicant.

Delivering Science across Key Stages 3 & 4.
What We’re Looking For

QTS (or equivalent) in Science, preferably Chemistry.

Experience teaching Science in KS3 & KS4.

Ability to plan engaging and effective lessons.

Flexibility, commitment, and ability to integrate swiftly into a new department.
