Science Teacher – Long-Term Role (January Start)
Location: Telford

Tara Professional Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a well-established and highly supportive secondary school in the Telford area. This is a long-term role starting January, offering the opportunity to work in a school known for its strong academic standards, excellent student behaviour, and commitment to staff development.

You will be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering both practical and theory Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The role offers the chance to inspire students, support their progress, and contribute positively to a thriving and collaborative learning environment. The school values innovation in teaching, encourages collaborative practice among staff, and prioritises helping every student achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Science Teacher (QTS or ECT considered)

  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 & KS4

  • Be confident delivering engaging practical experiments as well as structured theory lessons

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum

  • Be committed to supporting pupils’ academic progress, curiosity, and wellbeing
