Teacher of Spanish
Tara Recruitment are working in partnership with a large, well-regarded secondary school in Telford to recruit a dedicated Spanish specialist for a 0.6 contract starting in September.
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable MFL teacher with a strong subject specialism in Spanish. You will be delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment with a focus on academic excellence and student development.
The role does have a possibility of a permanent contract.
The ideal candidate will have:
✅ QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
✅ A strong subject specialism in Spanish
✅ Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
✅ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
✅ A genuine passion for languages and education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress
- Monitor and report on student attainment, providing feedback to support individual development
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and collaborative initiatives
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies
