Tara Professional Recruitment recognises its responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of its business activities and is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.
As a specialist recruitment agency supplying education professionals to schools and educational establishments throughout the UK, our environmental impact is relatively low. However, we are committed to continually improving our environmental performance through practical, proportionate measures that support sustainable business practices.
Environmental Objectives
Our objectives are to:
Reduce paper consumption by operating digital recruitment, onboarding and compliance processes wherever possible.
Encourage electronic documentation, contracts, timesheets, and invoicing.
Minimise business travel by using Microsoft Teams, Zoom and telephone meetings where appropriate.
Reduce energy consumption within our office by switching off lighting and equipment when not in use.
Purchase environmentally responsible office supplies where practical.
Recycle office waste including paper, cardboard, printer cartridges, and electronic equipment.
Encourage employees and candidates to use sustainable travel options where practical.
Collaborate with suppliers who demonstrate responsible environmental practices where possible.
Regularly review our environmental performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
