This school is a large Secondary school and sixth form with over 800 students on roll and has is a popular school in the local area with a large proportion of pupils living in the catchment having it as their school of choice. It is an inclusive school with a vision that children who are cared for and given a productive environment in which they can develop will achieve amazing things.

The Full-Time role will commence at the start of the Autumn term and the school is looking to hold interviews as soon as possible. The successful candidate would be responsible for planning, marking, and delivering Science to students in KS3 and KS4 with a specific emphasis on delivering excellent results within the academy.

The Role:

The School are looking for a driven practitioner with a proven track record of excellent classroom practise. You should have a natural flair for Delivering engaging lessons whilst producing excellent results for students. You will be working with students aged 11 – 16 planning and delivering engaging and challenging curriculum to stretch the pupils to get the best results, developing students on both an academic level and as a person as well.

Tara asks that applicants have the following:

  • • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • • Experience teaching Science in KS3 & 4
  • • An excellent level of classroom management
  • • A passion for your subject and working with young people
  • • Safeguarding training (with Certificate) – We can provide a course if you don’t have this
  • • A current DBS on the update service – we can apply for a new one if you don’t have one
