Special Education Needs Teaching Assistants required for September Start

SEN TA Position:

Here at Tara, we are open as usual! Despite what has been a very strange time, the education sector will recover, and as we see children return to schools from September, we are expecting a very busy first term across Shropshire!

If you’re a qualified Teaching Assistant, looking for work, then we would love to chat with you!!

I’m currently working with an excellent Primary school in the Telford area to recruit a number of experienced teaching assistants with specific SEN experience.

This work would take place within a mainstream school, supporting the workforce who teach pupils with an array of special educational needs, this can include EBD, ADHD & Autism.

This vacancy gives you the chance to work within a really lovely Church Of England school, with a real family and community feel. It’s an all-inclusive and supportive primary school with a Good Ofsted rating.

In Partnership with the school, Tara Professional Recruitment are looking to recruit a Level 3 or level 2 Teaching Assistant who has general TA and SEN experience.

The role in question is full time and due to start in September 2020 for one term initially but could extend on for the full academic year.

The ideal candidate will need to be proactive, have good communication and creative skills, as well as a nurturing nature.

Expectations for the role:

• Qualified in Level 3 / 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent

• Experience working in a primary school setting

• Willing to commit to the entirety of the role due to the importance of continuity

• Flexible and adaptable

• Up to date knowledge of the national curriculum

• Ability to work with pupils who have SEN
