This is a great opportunity offered by TARA Professional Recruitment, to deliver part of the Ruskin Mill Trust intervention, ‘Read Two Impress’ Reading programme on a full-time basis.

Research supports this scheme, as a viable and powerful way to increase students reading fluency. It is an 'old fashioned' reading intervention which will require the successful candidate to read text with great expression and model good reading skills.

We are seeking a Support staff who specialises in the subject area of Literacy or Numeracy who will take the lead to plan, co-ordinate and quality assure in their given area. This is to ensure that the subject is consistently well planned throughout the school and quality assured on a regular basis.

  • Have experience teaching / supporting children and young people with severe learning disabilities
  • As subject Leader experience of co-ordinating, leading and quality assuring your subject area of Literacy or Numeracy
  • The ability to coordinate, lead and deliver flexible, person cantered programs of study for designated individuals and groups
  • A beautiful location in the Oswestry area.
  • Full time hours
