Recruiting for a high achieving school in recruiting for two upcoming Art roles!
I have been approached by a high achieving school to put out the feelers and support in recruiting for two upcoming Art Teaching opportunities.
The Arts within the school is of high standard, with a specialism in oil based painting and pencil drawings. It has a friendly department made up of 3 staff members including a supportive Head of Department.
The School:
Based in West Midlands, the school provides education from as young as 4 – 18.
The independent day school provides a combination of small class sizes and teaching staff of the best quality.
Role A:
Start Date: TBC
Duration: Short Term
Timetable: 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Key Stage 3-5
Role B:
Start Date: Jan 2025
Duration: On going (Maternity Cover)
Timetable: 4 days a week. (Days TBC)
Key Stage 3-5
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching up to KS5.
- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.

All new trustees, employees and volunteers will be required to undertake safeguarding training on induction which will be regularly updated in line with statutory guidance.
