Excited to be supporting an outstanding school to recruit a Chemistry specialist on a part time basis!

I am supporting a high achieving, grammar school to recruit a Chemistry teacher after the half term!

About the school…

Located in a market town in Shropshire, the Girls school welcomes pupils from Telford, Stafford, and Shrewsbury.

Graded as Outstanding in their most recent OFSTED the school are now looking for a Chemistry specialist to join their team.

About the role…

Start Date: November 2024

Subject: Chemistry

Key Stage: 5 (Preferable)

Timetable: Part Time

Duration: Rolling

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational objectives.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic growth.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, preferably in a similar educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and supporting the holistic development of students.
  • Commitment to upholding the school's values and ethos.
