Duration: Rolling long term
Hours of work: 8:30am – 5pm
Key Responsibilities for the new Chemistry Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons tailored to the diverse needs and abilities of students aged 11-16.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and academic achievement.
- Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Requirements for the role of Chemistry Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities to achieve academic success.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes respect for all individuals.
