We are supporting the school in looking for a highly motivated and skilled Computer Science and Business teacher to join their team to start in the new year.

Start Date: January 2025

Duration: First term Initially

Contract Type: Temporary (Scope for permanent role)
Salary: MPS / UPS

OFSTED: Good

Based in South Staffordshire, the 11-18 faith school is now part of the largest multi-academy in the Archdiocese of Birmingham.

The school are now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join its thriving school community.

About the role…

As the Computer Science and Business teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
  • Support students in developing their language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Encourage a love of languages and cultural awareness among students.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity and promoting success.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in extra-curricular activities such as language clubs and school trips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computer Science and Business across Key Stage 3, 4, and possibly Key Stage 5
  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the department’s curriculum and teaching resources.
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with a degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge.
  • Passionate about languages and committed to inspiring students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
  • A team player who is eager to contribute to the broader school community.
