I am supporting a Wolverhampton based school in recruiting for an English Teacher to start as soon as possible.

Role suitable for ECTS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to teach English at KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Positively contribute to the development of English pedagogy within the department
  • Be actively supportive of the values and beliefs of the school
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that facilitate active learning experiences.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
  • Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in teaching up to GCSE essential, in both Language and Literature.
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
