Recruiting for a Telford and Wrekin School for an English specialist to start as soon as possible!
We are excited to supporting a partnering school in recruiting an English Specialist after the half term break.
About the school…
The 11–16 academy school Ensures Excellence at every level. Located within Telford, with easy links from surrounding areas including Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton the school provide a stimulating learning environment with state of the art facilities, including a welcoming space within their Learning Resource Centre.
The school are looking for someone dynamic to join their team and be a part of their pupils upcoming education.
Role Over View…
Start Date: After half term
Key Stage: 3 & 4
Timetable: Full Time preferable.
LEA: Telford and Wrekin
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching up to GCSE essential, in both Language and Literature.
- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
