Supporting a South Staffordshire School in recruiting for a Science specialist to start in January 2025
Tara are excited to support a partnering school in recruiting for a Science specialist!
Based in South Staffordshire, the 11-18 faith school is now part of the largest multi-academy in the Archdiocese of Birmingham.
The school thrives off creating an environment in which all pupils can thrive, not only through teaching but maintaining positive relationships between the families and school.
With strong academic performances and positive reputation, the school are now seeking to a new Science teacher to join their team!

You will have the opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver exciting Science lessons.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that are in accordance with the curriculum
- Provide a supportive and positive learning environment for all students.
- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and support student success.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science Studies, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and supporting the holistic development of students.
- Commitment to upholding the school's values and ethos.
- We will seek full referencing and DBS checks will before placing.
