About the Roles:

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
  • Provide 1:1 support and small group assistance to help students reach their full potential.
  • Encourage independence, social development, and confidence in a nurturing learning environment.
  • Work in various settings, including mainstream schools, SEN schools, and alternative provisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting).
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
