Job Title: Religious Studies Teacher
Tara are working with a secondary academy based just outside Telford, supporting them in recruiting a Religious Studies Teacher from January 2025!
The academy values every student and sets high expectations. It offers a wide range of subjects at A Level, and GCSE as well as a variety of vocational qualifications.
For several years, the school have been recognised as a high performing school. It continues to build on its many strengths to ensure outstanding examination results and life skills.
Religious Studies Teacher Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join a dynamic faculty on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will inspire and engage students in the study of Religious Studies, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality RS lessons, KS3 and KS4, that align with the school's curriculum and educational objectives
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic growth
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies, Philosophy, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
- Proven experience teaching at secondary level, preferably in a similar educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of the RS curriculum
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and supporting the holistic development of students
- Commitment to upholding the school's values and ethos
